We founded Sequitur Health Corp. to address unmet patient and physician needs. We are developing our technology to improve patient care and quality of life.

Our co-founders have over 50 years of combined experience in medicine, engineering, and medical devices.

Marylaura Thomas

Marylaura Thomas, PH.D.

Co-Founder

Dr. Marylaura Thomas earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University and Ph.D. in Materials Science from the California Institute of Technology; she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles; she is a Professor at Arizona State University (ASU). She has over 10 years of experience as a board member and treasurer for non-profit organizations, and over 9 years of experience in property management operations. She is a Fulton Entrepreneurial Professor at ASU.

Erica

Erica Forzani, Ph.D.

Co-Founder

Dr. Erica Forzani earned her B.S. and PH.D. in Clinical and Analytical Chemistry at Cordoba National University; she is an Associate Professor at Arizona State University and a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors. Dr. Forzani previously commercialized a Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared medical device with over 2000+ medical devices and 200,000 sensors deployed. She has expertise in medical device and sensor mass production as well as development and implementation of quality management systems.

Les

Leslie Thomas, M.D.

Co-Founder

Dr. Leslie Thomas earned his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN); he is an Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic (Scottsdale, AZ) and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. LF Thomas has over fifteen years of experience as a licensed, practicing physician. He is a board-certified nephrologist with significant expertise in physiology.
